The Parish Council

Find out about the opportunity to create a Neighbourhood Plan for Dormington and Mordiford.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held at 7.30pm in Dormington Church on Tuesday April 15th.  Try to be there.

The Parish Council meets monthly throughout the year and members of the public are always welcome to attend. There is always a short open forum for you to raise topics and ask questions. Meetings are advertised on the village noticeboards well in advance and the minutes are also posted there and on this site. You will always be able to download an agenda for the forthcoming meeting from this site, as well as access minutes of the last meeting.  Minutes  of the previous meetings are provided in the archive. Please remember that all residents are welcome to attend Parish Council meetings which are held approximately ten times a year.  Dates for this year's meetings are shown on Schedule of Parish Council Meetings page. All meetings start at 7.30pm and are at Mordiford School, unless otherwise shown.

A  newsletter, The Dragon, is published by the Parish Council once a quarter.  The latest edition and back copies can be viewed here. The Dragon is distributed to every household in the Parish.

The Dormington and Mordiford Group Parish Council produced a Parish Plan following consultation of Parishioners in a survey conducted in 2005. The idea was to obtain parishioners' views on the Parish and what actions were necessary to improve it.  The plan can be viewed in full.  From time to time a revised action plan is devised and a completed actions form completed.
