Dear Parishioners

The Herefordshire Council website is being updated and one of the new developments is the “Parish Council and Community” webpage. You can find this by using this link:-

https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/government-citizens-and-rights/democracy/council-parish-town-council-and-councillors/

This page contains a great deal of information which is being continually up-dated. In the next few days we will be posting a list of village websites.  If you think of any other information that may be of use to your community please do let  us know and we will try to add it.

Another innovation is the launch of the Parish Liaison page on Facebook! You can find this at:-

https://www.facebook.com/HerefordshireParishCouncils?ref=hl

There is already some interesting information on this page such as:-

· A new Community Asset fund announced by the Government yesterday

· A LGA/NALC  conference in July on the General Power of Competence

· A “Communities are US” conference on June 20th

Please do have a look at this page and post any comments, it’s a great new way to keep in touch!
